A Cozy Outdoor Wedding Near Nashville In Fall | October 22
Megan & Connor’s October Wedding In A Classic Fall Palette
“My favorite part of planning our wedding was making decisions together as a couple to make both of us happy.” –Megan (bride)
A Romantic Garden Wedding In Peak Tennessee Fall
Megan and Connor came to our team with visions of a fall boho wedding featuring elegant and sophisticated touches. Together with planner Sidney Darby, the Alabama couple achieved that cozy yet classic look for their evening ceremony and receptions. Pops of “fall orange” were incorporated in subtle ways: the bridesmaid dresses, flowers, and table settings.
The couple opted to do a first look in the gardens, where they exchanged private vows before the ceremony with friends and family. Following their “I dos,” guests were welcomed under the pavilion to a mixed floor plan of rustic farm tables and round tables with neutral linens. The couple chose classic cross-back chairs and a stunning table-setting combo: Austin Gold flatware, copper napkins, black-rimmed chargers, and Monaco crystal glassware.
The bold orange throughout the day was combined with a range of effortless neutrals that made the space feel layered and intentional. Champagne and ivory table runners stood out against the deep wood tables, while the deep copper-orange of the napkins played well with the modern, black paper menus at each guest’s seat.
Once their garden wedding ceremony, Megan and Connor sat at a sweetheart table in front of all of their guests. The cozy farm table was dressed up with a lush, draping garland of flowers in orange, pale pink, white, toffee, and green. Mixed in with the impressive garland were romantic floating candles and gold accents. All eyes were on the couple throughout the evening.
Petals & Fields helped our couple select muted fall colors for the flower arrangements, including gold, toffee, blush, and greenery. On the tables, flowers were arranged in large bouquets, as well as delicate glass bud vases. Everywhere guests looked there were stunning florals from the aisle to the bridal parties and beyond. Each large farm table was adorned with a hanging greenery ceiling installation, which along with hanging globes of flowers, created an autumn oasis. Simple candles, vases, and short stemmed florals added a “wow” moment to the overall space.
As the sun went down, a large vintage lightbulb chandelier turned on, creating a golden glow over the entire evening. They offered a traditional buffet and open bar, followed by a DJ and a dance party. Before the night ended, the newlyweds enjoyed an intimate “last dance” while their guests gathered for their sendoff.
“Our favorite memory [from the day] was our private vow reading and our private last dance. We would love to relive those moments constantly.”
