To be legally married in the state of Tennessee, you must obtain a marriage license no more than 30 days from the date of the wedding. You can get the license from any TN County Clerk’s office. For more information, read our blog post about getting a marriage license in Davidson (Nashville) or Williamson County (Franklin).
After the ceremony, celebrate at one of the excellent restaurants located in historic downtown Franklin, TN. Here are a few of our favorites within walking distance of CJ’s Off the Square:
And for a little slice of heaven:
The fabulous new Harpeth Hotel by Hilton is only one city block from us. It has beautiful rooms and a fantastic new restaurant which might be the perfect location to dine with your closest friends and family after your intimate and romantic garden ceremony here at CJ’s Off the Square.
Also nearby is the newer part of Franklin known as Cool Springs. It has over 60 hotels with a range of rooms and amenities and of course the bright city lights of Nashville are only 15 miles north. We also love the local charm and romance of smaller inns and B&B’s located throughout Williamson County. Check out our favorite local listings here: click here.
There is so much to see and do in Historic Franklin, TN. While the sights and sounds of Nashville draw many visitors to our neck of the woods, there is a lot to see and do right here in beautiful Williamson County. From whiskey distilleries to vineyards, civil war history to epic antiquing, it is easy to lose yourself in the slow pace of our small Southern town.
