Jayna + Brian’s Simple & Chic Summer Garden Wedding
Jayna and Brian met on a serendipitous night in Nashville, while she was in town from New York for a girl’s weekend. After months of long-distance dating, Jayna moved to Music City to be with Brian and the rest, as they say, is history.
When it came to getting engaged, Brian was in cahoots with one of Jayna’s photographer friends. She asked Jayna to model in a couple’s photoshoot at the local winery, Arrington Vineyards. In reality, Brian had planned an elaborate proposal, to be caught on camera, and even surprised Jayna with their family and friends to celebrate at the winery.
The Simple & Chic White Wedding Details
The First Look
The bride wore a modern satin gown named “The Butler” from Nashville’s Modern Trousseau, while the groom and his men stunned in classic black suits and bow-ties. For her girls, the bride chose elegant gold dresses to compliment the lush greenery and white bouquets from Fresh Weddings by CarryAnn.
The Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
The couple’s garden ceremony was simple and chic, allowing their vows to be the star of the show. With classic white folding chairs and minimal white rose floral arrangements, guests were surrounded by the lush green of the gardens while Jayna and Brian said “I do.”
Jayna’s aunt married the couple and led a unique ceremony marked by the couple’s own vows.
“Having everything about our ceremony personal made it so, so special for us,” says Brian.
The Garden Wedding Reception
When it came to their reception, the self-proclaimed “type A” bride and her groom wanted clean, simple, and elegant. Looking for the perfect venue was one of the most important decisions for the couple. They were sold on CJ’s Off the Square’s outdoor space, beautiful gardens, and the fact that it’s right in the heart of Franklin, TN.
“CJ’s Off the Square made the entire process stress-free for even my Type A self. It was the most organized fun I’ve ever had,” says Jayna.
