7 Garden Ceremony Looks We Love at CJ’s Off the Square
At CJ’s Off the Square, we believe every couple deserves a ceremony that reflects their unique style and love story. Nestled in the heart of Franklin, TN, our garden venue offers the perfect backdrop for saying ‘I do.’ In this post, we’re excited to share seven garden ceremony looks that we absolutely adore. Whether you’re dreaming of a simple but elegant affair or something that is over the top romantic, get ready to be inspired by these stunning ceremony setups.
Be sure to pin your favorites to share with your planner and florist. We’ve listed the florist who created these ceremony looks shown in each picture. We highly recommend all of them if you are looking to partner with someone who knows our venue extremely well and has the experience to know exactly which blooms will best fit your style and budget.
Garden Wedding Ceremony Look 1: My Modern Valentine
The ceremony was the epitome of a modern Valentine dream. With lush spring blooms in shades of red, pink and white, it was simply stunning. The Flower Girls used our ceremony arch and covered it from top to bottom in greenery and fresh flowers. They then created a dramatic “aisle meadow” with large floral arrangements at the base of each chair. We love the use of our fruitwood ceremony chairs which gave a grounded, natural look. White chairs would also have been lovely, but brought a stronger contrast.

Garden Wedding Ceremony Look 2: Modern English Garden
For this look, Nashville wedding and event florist Larson Floral Co. used inspiration from the summer season paired with the bride’s love of English gardens to create this modern, but classic look. We love the use of traditional flowers in shade of peach, pink, cream, light blues and pops of yellow. The use of columns to provide different elevations for the arrangements was a great trick. It brough a modern look the garden wedding ceremony but also allowed the florist to maximize the scale of the overall installation while using multiple floral arrangements that could be repurposed for table top centerpieces. Talk about a win win!
This is also a great example of a ceremony design that opted not to use our ceremony arch. It’s nice to know it’s included and available, but if the look you love doesn’t call for an arch, we can easily remove it so you can have a totally unique wedding ceremony look.

Garden Wedding Ceremony Look 3: Simple But Elegant Spring Wedding
Sara from The Petite Petal provided the flowers for this simple but elegant spring wedding in our garden. The couple’s used blues and whites for the entire wedding but wanted to keep the ceremony mostly white. This couple was also on a tight budget. They loved the garden setting, which doesn’t need a lot of extra decoration. But they also wanted to make their wedding special with some fresh flowers. Sara added touches of blue ribbon on the aisle markers which gently blew in the breeze. She then used greenery and strategically placed white blooms on our ceremony arch for a simple but elegant look.

Garden Wedding Ceremony Look 4: Colorful Summer Blooms
You know we love a summer garden wedding here at CJ’s Off the Square. But the warmer temps and summer sun can be brutal when it comes to wedding flowers. Direct sunlight and warmer temps can cause your beautiful blooms to wilt and fade, which is the last thing you want when you make an investment in a stunning ceremony look like this. So for this look, Sara at The Petite Petal used faux florals from Something Borrowed Blooms to give a bright, colorful, and lush ceremony look that looked beautiful all day long. Faux flowers aren’t always quality but these are hands down the best looking artificial flowers we have ever seen. Sara did a great job working with the Nina Collection from Something Borrowed Blooms to create this asymmetrical ceremony arch with playful urns flanking either side. The aisle markers also worked well to bring color from the back to the front.
If you are planning a summer wedding outside, we highly recommend considering Something Borrowed Blooms. We also can’t recommend Sara at The Petite Petal enough to be the creative force to help you customize your order, get the right pieces and right sizes, and then receive, install, and return the rented flowers for you. She can also provide fresh florals for your bridal bouquet and wedding party for a hybrid approach that can give you the best of both worlds.

Garden Wedding Ceremony Look 5: Pretty Pastels with Bridgerton Energy
Okay, we are still obsessed with this ceremony look created by Gretchen at her team at Blume & Willow. The colors, the English garden energy …all of it couldn’t be more perfect for a spring garden wedding at CJ’s Off the Square. The pastel shades of pink, peach, lavender and blue are so romantic. The effect of the aisle meadow is one of our favorite trends for wedding ceremony looks. We also love the “broken arch” as the ceremony focal point. It’s both traditional but also unexpected and creates a memorable look that you will love for years as you look back at your wedding portraits. And I have to say …it wasn’t just the wedding party taking pictures! We can’t tell you how many guests were having their picture taken all night long in front of this stunning focal point.

Garden Wedding Ceremony Look 6: Simple But Elegant
This is the perfect example of why choosing a garden wedding venue like CJ’s Off the Square is such a great idea. The garden is so lovely on it’s own, you don’t have to add a ton of decoration to make it feel special. For this wedding, Sara at The Petite Petal use greenery and white blooms to decorate our ceremony arch. She added light touches of greenery, a few blooms, and streaming ribbons as aisle markers. The aisle markers are a bit hard to see in this photo but it was a really sweet touch which finished this simple but elegant look. If you are on a tight budget but still want to have fresh flowers at your ceremony, pin this idea for inspiration. This couple choose white blooms, but a pop of color would make even more impact to help make a little go a long way.

Garden Wedding Ceremony Look 7: Modern White Wedding Ceremony
The Flower Girls blew us away with this modern white wedding ceremony installation. Using two of our favorite ceremony decor concepts: the aisle meadow and the broken arch. The classic white color palette would look beautiful anytime of year. We especially love it for a summer wedding. This is another example of a look that is both modern and timeless. It looks stunning in white, but as you saw in other examples above, you can also use the same concepts with your wedding colors to make this look your own.
