Garden Romance: A Dreamy Summer Wedding Inspiration | September 6
“CJ’s Off the Square had the perfect romantic garden vibe that we were looking for! We also loved that the packages made everything super simple on our end.” Danielle
Danielle + Andy’s Romantic Summer Garden Wedding With All The Neutral Vibes
Danielle and Andy dreamed of a romantic outdoor wedding with all of their friends and family present, and they knew it would be important to get the details in place quickly so guests could make plans from out of town. When the pandemic threw a wrench in thier plans for a spring wedding, they made sure to focus on the big picture: They were getting married! In the end, we were able to find a summer date to reschedule to which allowed this beautiful couple say “I Do” in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at CJ’s Off the Square and we couldn’t be happier for them!
Love At First Sight
When you know, you know. For Danielle and Andy it was love at first sight. But it wasn’t until a trip to Amsterdam that Andy proposed. And friends, he did it right! He planned it all out and even hired a photographer to capture a very surprised Danielle saying “yes” when he popped the question during a romantic stroll through the city. Swoon!
“After celebrating (our engagement), we were really focused on finding a venue! We really wanted to get a venue and a date nailed down since we had mostly out of town guests. CJ’s Off the Square had the perfect romantic garden vibe that we were looking for! We also loved that the packages made everything super simple on our end.” – Danielle
Getting Ready For Thier Outdoor Nashville Wedding
The First Look
“Our first look was definitely one of our favorite memories of our wedding day,” says Danielle. “I highly recommend doing it if you are on the fence.”
The Wedding Party
Danielle stunned in her cap-sleeved lace gown by Hayley Paige and her bridal party looked gorgeous in their perfectly mismatched neutral bridesmaid gowns in “sand”. In fact, the entire color palette for the wedding was a mix of lovely neutral tones including a very barely blush, taupe, ivory, champagne and pops of white. LOVE this look!
The Details
Barely blush, cream and white blooms were accented by lush greenery for a dreamy neutral wedding style.
“We LOVED all of the candles and flowers under the pavilion! It gave us all the romantic garden feels and was such a warm place to be celebrated. “
Love this look? So do we! Here are the elements we used to get this classic, elegant wedding style with just a hint of rustic flair:
Ceremony: Fruitwood folding chairs, mainly white ceremony blooms with white garden roses, white peonies, white lisianthus, quicksand roses and gunni eucalyptus and ruscus for texture.
Reception: Dark wood farm tables, café satin napkins, champagne dupioni linens, cross back chairs, more stunning neutral blooms, and the modern rustic “Taylor” chandeliers with Edison bulbs and fresh greenery.
Go ahead and pin your favorite looks now. And don’t forget that we have even more neutral wedding looks to share with you on Pinterest.
The Garden Wedding Ceremony
Danielle, Andy and thier family and friends had to postpone thier big day, but just seeing the joy on their faces tells you that it was worth the wait! Something we loved about working with this couple was thier warmth and sense of humor. They always had smiles on thier faces throughout the planning process …even we had to reschedule the wedding. And to see this deep sense of connection and love with thier friends and family during thier wedding ceremony was just so rewarding after so much uncertainly in the months leading up to this day.
“We loved getting married under the gazebo surrounded by our closest family and friends. It felt extremely intimate” recalls Danielle.
The Reception
And after planning and re-planning her wedding, Danielle had some great advice for couples no matter what the circumstances are when they are planning thier wedding:
“Go with the flow as much as possible and don’t get held up by minor details! The pandemic continued to make us remember that the most important thing at the end of the day was that we were getting married.”
