“If you’re looking for a place to have an intimate and elegant wedding,  this venue and the team they have is the way to go!!” – Caroline

We just LOVE destination weddings! So when Caroline called us with more than a few worries about planning her wedding from another state, we were able to put her mind at ease right away. Because we are a wedding location with planning and design services, it makes the planning process much less stressful.

We had a destination wedding, which can be challenging” recalled, Caroline. (My planner) Jennifer worked with me every step of the way to make sure everything was taken care of and in place. She immediately picked up on the style I wanted and turned all of my thoughts/dreams into reality.”

Caroline + Michael’s Gorgeous Gilded Garden Wedding

The style she was going for was a blend of classic, timeless elegance with a modern twist. While this was a mostly gold and white wedding,  we also incorporated champagne and ivory blooms and touches of tropical greenery to make things pop.

Flowers were a huge part of my wedding style” said the bride. “We wanted the head table to have a wide floral runner and tall trumpet vases for the round tables were used to add height.” While some couples choose to scale back on flowers, Caroline and Mike added more.  “Even the welcome sign incorporated flowers! I think without all of the gorgeous blooms, the look of our wedding just wouldn’t have been the same.”

While the groom and groomsmen wore handsome navy suits, the bridesmaids wore barely blush gowns by Dessy and Caroline wore a stunning illusion neckline wedding dress with floral lace detailing on the top portion and a clean modern skirt. So perfect for a garden wedding!

We love the way the rustic white wash on the farm tables plays with the formal gold chiavari chairs. Just enough contrast to keep the look fresh. And geometric table numbers were a perfect blend of trendy touches with a classic composition. The perfect mix of gold and white wedding details were even incorporated into the wedding cake.

When asked if she had any advice for future brides, Caroline quickly noted, “I think at the end of the day, all the little details have a way of working out. The wedding planners are there for a reason so try not to get overwhelmed and stressed. The day flew by so quickly so make sure to soak in every minute of the day!”
