A Modern, Minimalist White Wedding in Spring | April 25
“From the very first day we chose our wedding date, the CJ’s team treated us with such care, attention, and efficiency. The team’s warmth and passion radiated through every interaction with our families and guests, and we received countless compliments about the hardworking staff who made our ceremony and reception look stunning.” – Jack
Miranda and Jack’s minimal wedding in shades of white and ivory
Spring at CJ’s Off the Square always feels like a dream. The garden bursts into full bloom, the days start to warm up with a only a slight hint of a chill in the evening. And the soft light of the season creates a romantic backdrop for a wedding. For Miranda and Jack, April 25 became the perfect date to gather loved ones and celebrate their love story with joy, intention, and style.
Miranda shared early in the planning process,
“We are most excited about just truly celebrating our love with intention, and having as much fun as possible with our friends and family afterwards.”
This spirit shaped every detail of their wedding day, creating a celebration that was equal parts heartfelt and fun.

A Ceremony Rooted in Family
One of the most meaningful moments came when Miranda’s uncle walked her down the aisle, a role that carried deep meaning as it honored her late father. They also memorialized her dad with a beautiful sign placed in the chair where he would have been sitting. The moment felt especially personal and moving, heightened by the pause at the bottom of the garden stairs as her uncle escorted her with care. In addition, the lush greenery, white blooms, and soft neutral accents created the perfect canvas for an intimate ceremony. Afterwards, string lights twinkled overhead as Miranda and Jack exchanged vows, and then guests flowed into the reception.

Minimalist Elegance in the Garden
Miranda described her style as minimalist, with a palette of white, tan, nude, and greenery. Consequently, less became more — each design choice highlighted the natural beauty of the garden. Lush arrangements by Porch Flowers paired with simple, glowing candlelight at the reception. Together, they created an atmosphere that felt both classic and modern while also remaining undeniably romantic.

A Joyful Celebration
At the reception, cocktail attire set the tone for a lively evening of dining and dancing. Premier, The Entertainment Company kept the dance floor full. Guests also enjoyed a delicious dinner from Dream Events and Catering along with a stunning cake from Baked in Nashville.

“The level of detail and the seamless execution of everything is a testament to why CJ’s Off the Square is such a sought-after venue. We can’t recommend it highly enough and are beyond grateful to CJ and the entire team for making our special day truly extraordinary. We only wish we could relive it all over again. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!” – Jack
