Romantic Spring Garden Wedding in Franklin TN | Sydney & Matt at CJ’s Off the Square

Sydney and Matt’s wedding day at CJ’s Off the Square was a perfect reflection of their style: timeless, romantic, and intimate. With just over 40 guests, soft spring florals, and a relaxed Sunday timeline, their April wedding embraced the beauty of the garden in full bloom. It also made space for heartfelt moments with family and friends.

Getting Ready & Wedding Party Moments

Sydney and her bridesmaids got ready in our historic bridal suite. Matt and his groomsmen prepped in the wine cellar. Hair and makeup by Indigo Beauty Collective set a naturally elegant tone. The couple’s choice not to do a first look added extra emotion to the ceremony.

The wedding party was small but full of personality. It was just enough to keep things festive while preserving the intimate vibe. Their flower girl and ring bearers brought charm and sweetness to the day. Siblings and close friends offered loving support from start to finish.

Garden Ceremony With Traditional Vows

With string lights overhead and spring blooms all around, Sydney and Matt exchanged traditional vows in front of the garden gazebo in the late afternoon sun. They chose not to see each other before the ceremony. The look on Matt’s face as Sydney walked down the aisle with her father said everything.

Officiated by Ralph Griggs, their ceremony was short, sweet, and incredibly moving. The joy in the air was undeniable.

A Celebration to Remember

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres and a champagne wall during cocktail hour. Meanwhile, Sydney and Matt snuck away for portraits and a quiet moment together before joining the reception.

Dinner was served in the garden pavilion. Toasts from the matron of honor, best man, and both fathers brought laughter and happy tears. The couple’s wedding cake from Baked in Nashville was a sweet highlight. The night ended with dancing and a private last dance under the stars.
