Liz + James Tie the Knot in a Romantic Summer Garden Wedding with Friends & Family from Far & Wide
Summers in the South can get pretty warm. But that didn’t stop us from putting together a fabulous romantic outdoor ceremony and reception for Liz and James! Our vision for a traditional summer garden wedding was executed perfectly through light hues of blush and grey along with airy floral arrangements.
Getting Ready
Liz danced and twirled her way through the bridal suite while the groomsmen played cards in tour wine cellar. Liz’s glamorous flat sandals and a spaghetti-strapped gown were perfect touches to embody the summer garden party. Pretty and comfortable …that’s our kind of bride!
The Wedding Party
Historic Franklin, TN offers up some gorgeous backdrops for wedding portraits and Liz and James were sure to take advantage. Gorgeous greenery and unique buildings made for a wedding portrait shoot they won’t forget! We also just love that Liz has “bridesmen” instead of bridesmaids. CJ always says that doing what feels right for you as a couple is more important than any wedding tradition …and that couldn’t have been more true for Liz. Love this!
The Details
Grey textured linens and blush accents on the tables gave the pavilion a calm and relaxed look. Opting for a sweetheart table boosted the romance factor on the newlyweds’ special day and we just love the garland that was custom made just for this table. It also gave us a place to display Liz’s bridal bouquet all night long …and you know we love a decor element that does double duty!
The Ceremony
The happy tears were flowing as this couple said “I do!” in the garden. After a short and sweet ceremony punctuated with a kiss, the couple walked back up the aisle to an overjoyed CJ (we were all cracking up with we saw that pic …we just had to share!). CJ and our entire team are truly filled with so much joy to be a part of so many happy moments. #blessed
The Reception
Guests enjoyed champagne well into the evening as Liz and James celebrated their new start as one. We couldn’t have asked for more laughs or smiles on this joyous summer eve!
