To say we had fun working with Samantha and John to plan and design their spring garden wedding would be an understatement. Their wedding styled featured dramatic floral installations as well as soft, flowy draping to give a light and airy feeling. The effect was elegant and so lovely.

Getting Ready for a Garden Wedding

The ladies chose to get pampered at nearby salon Hunter Paige. We LOVE the crew at Hunter Paige…it is a stunning salon setting where multiple ladies can get hair and make-up done at the same time while sipping on Mimosas. Sam and her ladies then arrived at CJ’s Off the Square to put on their dresses in our bridal suite and jump right into pictures to make the most of a busy wedding day timeline.

Samantha’s bridesmaids wore dresses in shade of blue which really let their bouquets of anemone, astilbe, roses and greenery pop. Just like our design for the reception, the mix and match look was a huge style win. John’s groomsmen opted for classic black tuxes to elevate the wedding to black tie status. Looking great fellas!

Samantha + John’s Spring Garden Wedding Reception Style

Samantha wanted an polished, modern garden party look with a few rustic touches. So taking this into consideration, we decided a mix of traditional round tables with a muted blue linen and rustic dark wood farm tables will be the perfect base to create the floor plan. To mirror to breezy look of the draping hung in the pavilion, we added a gorgeous dove grey chiffon runner to tie all of the tables together. The gold rimmed chargers added just a touch of shine that really brought all of the elements together. We also used a soft palette of whites, blush and just a hint of blue in the flowers which were perfect for a spring wedding.
